About the Gallery
Nottingham Contemporary has been described as “the most inspiring gallery in the UK” (Guardian). Situated in the heart of Nottingham, we’re here to provide international art, for everyone, for free. Since the gallery opened in 2009, the iconic green and gold building has welcomed more than 1.5 million visitors who have experienced world-class contemporary art. Nottingham Contemporary is known for being constantly innovative and ambitious, through their exhibitions, research, learning programme, events, community work and beyond.
