About the Gallery
Founded by Christophe Gaillard in 2007 at rue de Thorigny, Paris, Galerie Christophe Gaillard moved, in October 2015, to its current location at 5 rue Chapon, which contains two distinct spaces for exhibitions. Though not an explicit guideline for its program, Galerie Christophe Gaillard is proud to work with many women artists. The gallery exhibits and represents artists at various stages of their careers: it can be seen as a launchpad for a new generation of emerging artists from France and abroad, such as Julien Des Monstiers, Rachel de Joode, Hannah Whitaker, and Letha Wilson, and also represents established contemporary artists like Véronique Boudier, Hélène Delprat, and Katarzyna Kozyra. Furthermore, working with the cooperation of artist's estates, the gallery promotes artists from the 1960s to the 1990s whose work resonates with current art practices, including Tetsumi Kudo and Daniel Pommereulle.
