About the Gallery
F Magazine was founded in 2014 as a biannual thematic publication by Adam Marnie and Tuomas Korpijaakko, expanding to include artist books in print, PDFs, and artist editions. Since 2019, Marnie has operated F as a gallery out of his home in Houston, presenting solo and group exhibitions by emerging and under-recognized artists.

About the presentation
F’s group presentation brings together three emerging artists: blvxmth, Jen Fisher, and Doug Welsh. blvxmth builds up and deconstructs digital and film photography with methods including double exposures, long exposures, and the manipulation of mechanical accident and chance. Fisher’s video, collage, assemblage, and performance works are made as an extension of her daily life as a poet and street bookseller in New York. Welsh works with discarded latex house-paint and spray-paint on canvas in an intuitive abstract process. His compositions often allude to natural or celestial forms, but always return to the fundamentals of painting: material, color, shape, and surface.
