Presentation Details
Founded as a biannual thematic magazine and curatorial platform, F has since 2019 operated a gallery in Houston dedicated to emerging and under-recognized artists. For its Independent debut, F presents a group show by New York-based artists Heather Bursch and Scott Covert and Los Angeles-based artists Skylar Haskard and Megan Plunkett. Focusing on Bursch’s sculpture, Covert’s paintings, Haskard’s assemblages, and Plunkett’s photography, the presentation will explore notions of the trace, the fragment, the ghost, and the thing.
