About the Gallery
Founded in 2015, the Landing is a fine art gallery on Jefferson Boulevard in Los Angeles. The name came from a window box in Reform Gallery, the owner and decorative arts dealer Gerard O’Brien’s salon-style showroom on Melrose Avenue. Reform was a resource for furniture, sculptures, and pottery by West Coast artists. As an extension of Reform, O’Brien opened the Landing, a stand-alone gallery dedicated to establishing a dialogue between underexposed historical artists and contemporary practices. The Landing focuses on the history and legacy of California Modernism and maintains a program of solo and two-person exhibitions, as well as thematic group exhibitions throughout the year. It began representing artists in 2018 and is currently supporting the works of Jeremy Anderson, Yevgeniya Baras, J.B. Blunk, Ryan Fenchel, Mattea Perrotta, Fred Reichman, Jonathan Ryan and Amanda Valdez.
